Charlotte Moueix
Project Advisor
A practicing specialized wildlife veterinarian in Africa for over 15 years, Charlotte has seen firsthand the dangers faced by African Wildlife, and has dreamed of getting involved with larger scale conservation projects. After repeatedly witnessing on the ground the failure of many conservation projects due to funding limitations, Charlotte was inspired to collaborate on ACTIF; bringing her knowledge, local contacts, and experience to help make ACTIF “an African Mobile Intervention Unit to respond with funding and passion to animals in need”.

Charlotte studied Veterinary Sciences at the National Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort, Paris, France then completed an MSc on wildlife at the Veterinary University of Pretoria in South Africa. Having gained personal, practical experience with mammals such as elephant, rhino, buffalo and endangered antelope species by working with some of the country’s leading vets, she now runs her own wildlife veterinary practice, specializing in capture and care of all game species including large carnivores.
